Well let's see, I'm Mom to Victoria and Mitchell, wife to Dick; I'm special to all three, who are special to me,and that makes me the Luckiest Person on Earth. Victoria is married to Andew Knipp. I love being a mother-in-law. Hope he loves his mother-in-law. I love the comfort of being home. I'm blessed with a huge craft room, and an endless desire to create. One of my favorite things in this life is meeting people. I have the gift of gab, and can talk to most anyone. God has truly blessed me.

A Challenge for Secret Crafter!

Hello:

Happy Monday! I know most hate Mondays. I totally understand. When I worked outside the home, I too hated Mondays. Even at home, Mondays are extremely busy days. I think it is because I use the weekend to think of all the things I have to do on Monday, after places and offices are back open.

Well, I have a card to post. This card is much bigger than the regular cards. The stamped image, which I’m totally grateful for receiving, is a little large and I had to make my card larger. I kind of like the size. I had a wonderful evening working on this card. It was perfect to relax and take my time, and it was just so nice.

The card is for a challenge on the Secret Crafter blog. Most of the paper used is Stampin’ Up. There are two pieces of designer paper but I’m not sure of the company that makes it. Also, there is a light green piece of glitter-like paper, which is hard to see in the picture, underneath the image, against the brown. Not sure who makes that either. Sorry! The challenge was to use buttons on your card. I got the buttons!

Well, I want to thank you so much for stopping by, and hope you do often. Have a Wonderful Day!

Happy Weekend - Check out Blog Candy!

Hi All!
Thanks for stopping by. I have to tell you about some blog candy give-a-ways. First, check out Pressing Pretties for four chances to win blog candy on her anniversary. Both of the blog candy give-a-ways are wonderful. Hope I win! It is so exciting for just a chance, isn’t it? Okay, here is the other. I got so excited I almost forgot to tell you were to go so you too could sign up. Check out Scrap-Creations. She has Martha Stewart punches and some very cute Whipper Snapper Stamps. I love their stamps!

Okay, on to my post. I made this for one of the Verve Challenges last week when they were having a blog hop for the new releases. I wanted so much to be able to do them all, unfortunately time was a factor, as I’m sure most of you are aware of in your own busy lives. The little snowman was an older TAC. I love snowmen, so to me they are never out of style no matter the age of the stamp.

Thank you again for stopping by. I hope your weekend is wonderful. Happy Stamping!

Karen

For the I (Heart) 2 Stamp Challenge

Today’s post is a card for the I (heart) 2 Stamp Challenge. I like this sketch. I wish I could get more challenges covered. I have the best intentions. I look them up, print off the design/sketch and then cannot find the time to do them. With the upcoming season it is going to be even harder.

Well, I have got to get to bed. Another busy day tomorrow. Thank you for stopping by, and come back by often. Have a great Tuesday!

Magnolia vs. Stampavie Challenge

Today’s post is for the Magnolia vs Stampavie challenge. This is the first challenge of the new web site set up for Magnolia and Stampavie stamps. I submit this for the challenge. I just love the little moose by Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps. Hopefully, I can soon purchase more of the little animal stamps she has in her line. I’m a sucker for animal stamps, however, there are so many stamps and not enough money!

Tomorrow, my post will be for one of the Verve Sketch Holiday Release challenges they have going on right now. There are five sketch challenges, and I got one finished, almost two, when the electric went off for several hours and I was unable to get the others together. I had them all colored, but not together and it was so hard to work by oil lamp. How did they do that so many years ago? Makes me admire Laura Ingalls so much more!!!
Okay, get out and enjoy your weekend! Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you come back often. Have a good one!
