Well let's see, I'm Mom to Victoria and Mitchell, wife to Dick; I'm special to all three, who are special to me,and that makes me the Luckiest Person on Earth. Victoria is married to Andew Knipp. I love being a mother-in-law. Hope he loves his mother-in-law. I love the comfort of being home. I'm blessed with a huge craft room, and an endless desire to create. One of my favorite things in this life is meeting people. I have the gift of gab, and can talk to most anyone. God has truly blessed me.

Heard about Stamp a Sweet Impression?

Well, I was surfing again and came across I (heart) 2 stamp. She was talking about Taylored Expressions new stamps, and I checked them out and I'm definitely ordering. The cutest stamps. I love cupcake stamps anyway, and I need them. Don't we all need this stuff? Well, if I will comment on the campaign they are having, and let you know about the campaign I will be registered in the drawing for a stamp set give away. Now, you know and you can go there and enter as well. Check out Taylored Expressions for the stamps, and www.tayloredexpressions.blogspot.com for the info. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Please check back in. I've been working hard, and have several things to post, I just need to take pictures and get them on here. Hopefully, soon.

Any sweet candy is good but Blog Candy is my Fav!

Hi All:

I was blog surfing tonight. Actually, I was trying to find a challenge I could work on, and was referred from one blog to Camilla's Blog. She is giving away blog candy. I am posting it here, hoping that you too will hop over and give it a try. I can't keep this info to myself. Sharing is what it is all about, or we wouldn't have blogs, right? Now, get yourself over there and comment!

Thanks for stopping by, and do so often. I do plan on posting a card in the next couple of days, maybe even this evening (I'm hoping), so stop by again to see. Hope your day is stampalicious!

Karen

Beautiful Monday! - Just a Note.

Hello All:

Hope your weekend was great! The weather here in the Southern Point of Ohio has been spectacular. We have been so lucky with the just right temperatures and sunny days. I’m not usually a big fall lover, but with this weather what’s not to love.

Sunday, I spent the afternoon with my friend Tessie. She and I have the best times together. This week we sort of cased a project we saw on Stamping School. (Love this site. I may have to subscribe to it. I didn’t even know about it, but thanks for letting me know Tessie.) We changed it up a bit to be a note pad holder instead of a card. I think it worked out good. Someone has probably already made something similar to this. No need to let me know. Just let us have the "big head" and let us think we did it all by ourselves. We need that! No need to burst our bubbles!

I got three little note pads for $1.00 at CVS dollar bins. That is the notebook-like paper pad we used inside. I do know that the ribbon is SU, the green flower with the orange center is SU, and the button is SU. The "Just a Note" is stamped on pumpkin pie orange SU paper. This is something I do know. I do not know the name of the paper the actual pad is made out of, and I’m sorry about that. It is double sided. I did use glitter DCWV as a small strip right under the ribbon. Also, I used a Martha Stewart punch to cut my design at the bottom of the front of the pad holder.

Thank you for stopping by, and come by often. I hope your weather is good wherever you are. Hope your day is a good one. Enjoy!

Toota-loo,
Karen
